Cup Filling Side Table

In this project, I first built the table and used a CNC machine to cut a perfectly circular hole at the top. I then designed the parts in CAD and 3D printed all the brackets for the linear bearing rails along with the carriage that moves up and down with the cup. Once the cup is lowered using a linear actuator, a servo rotates the tube in position and a submersible food-grade water pump is used to fill the cup. After filling, the servo rotates back out of the way so the cup can then be raised back up and the sequence is complete. This project combines woodworking, 3D printing, electronics, programming, and mechanical parts.
